Job Description
Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests in accordance with company recipes and guidelines. You will also maintain a very clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast paced environment, while providing superior guest service.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a timely and professional manner

Personally recognize and learn the names of our regulars.

Follow Uccello’s steps of service for all bar guests.

Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age.

Consistently use suggestive selling techniques.

Present food and drink menus, possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations and answer questions regarding all aspects of the menus.

Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner at the bar and lounge area.

Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Uccello’s standard drink recipes.

Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).

Wash and sanitize glassware and bar utensils.

Prep garnishes for drinks

Maintain the company’s high standards for cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the bar including coolers, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.

Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.

Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar manager.

Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar, assist with the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the bar manager or management team.
Requirements
Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED
-
Must be at least 21 years of age

Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a full service bar
-
Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus and classic cocktail preparation
-
Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time
-
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
-
Excellent guest service skills with strong ability to interact with guests
-
Excellent verbal communication skills
-
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle money and operate a POS system.

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
